Key principles
How we ensure being connected, consistent and client-centric
We have formulated key principles that form the basis of our Clients & Markets organisation. They continue to guide our choices to ensure that we operate in a connected, consistent and client-centric way.

Connected
- We collaborate by connecting the right expertises based on clear shared goals
- We allocate resources and capabilities to contribute to strategic priorities, such as market themes and integrated solutions.
- We keep the organisation simple with limited hierarchical layers.

Client-centric
- The Client Experience is leading in everything we do.
- We organise ourselves in a way where we add most value for our internal clients and stakeholders.

Consistent
- We clearly define our capabilities and services in a way our added value is clear and easily understood within our firm.
- We create clarity about career paths based on clear and defined guidelines. We give people the opportunity to keep on improving their qualities in go-to-market teams.
- We maximise levels of autonomy for teams and create effective team sizes.

Our teams
How we organise our work
Based on the eight principles, we have set up a Client & Markets organisation that allows us to further develop our knowledge and capabilities while being at the same time flexible, adaptable and agile.

Capability team
Forms the ‘home base’ and includes roles with similar capabilities.
- Focused on capability excellence with a focus on innovation, digital tooling and data insights.
- Clear service offering and one consistent way of working (per capability and on C&M level).
- Combination of fixed and flexible roles, which allows deepening of expertise and (temporarily) switches.

Go-to-market team
Includes various capabilities who collaborate on a go-to-market topic such as a market theme or an integrated proposition.
- Cross-functional team members, includes every capability needed to perform the team's goals.
- Concrete deliverables in limited time.
- Agile way of working (e.g. Scrum).
- Flexible, adjustable to changes in the PwC strategy or structure.
